Providing Access.
We do it by designing beautiful environments that enable you to live to the fullest of your abilities.
Freedom Design was founded in 2009 by two licensed physical therapists who recognized the need for knowledgeable medical consultation in the home modification process. We understand your desire to live in your own home for as long as possible. It is not only more comfortable to live out your life in your own home, it is much more affordable and makes economical sense. Making changes to your home, big or small, to improve accessibility will allow you to maintain independence in a safer environment.
We'd like to say Hello.
After realizing a common interest in making homes accessible, Jennifer and Cassandra partnered to found Freedom Design, Inc. in 2009. They have taken extensive course work concentrating on home modification as well as accessible and universal design.

Our Process
Our Mission
At Freedom Design it is our mission to design beautiful environments allowing our clients to
function to their greatest ability with ease.
As licensed physical therapists we are able to use
our professional knowledge related to physical
impairments to better serve our clients.
We can assist many different types of clients,
such as:
• Those who have experienced a life long altering injury or disability
• Those who have been diagnosed with a
progressive disease
• Those with physical and sensory challenges
• Those aging individuals who require more
assistance in their home environment
• Those who simply wish to modify their home
to age in place
Your desire to create a home that will support
your needs guides our home modification process. Our client-centered approach allows us to integrate universal and accessible design principles into all
of our projects. We go beyond the standards of
the Americans with Disabilities Act and give personalized design while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
We provide access through our three step process:
1. Perform a Home Evaluation
• Identify your needs and assess your living environment
• Look at how you function in your home and
identify potential barriers
• Design an individualized plan for you that will
provide accessibility and safety
• Document our findings in a formal report
2. Introduce Solutions and Specialty Products
• Identify products to enhance your function
within your home environment
• Help you select the products that will best
meet your needs
3. If necessary, we work in partnership with your Contractor/Architect/Designer
• Translate your medical information to help
everyone working on the project better
understand your needs
• Help take the guess work out of the placement
of specialty products
• Monitor the project throughout construction to
ensure your plan is implemented properly
Personalization, comfort, safety and security are
the result of a successful home modification by Freedom Design.
